MPEG-H Audio and the Future of Brazilian Broadcasting: A New Chapter Begins

On August 27, 2025, Brazil took a decisive step into the future of television. In a landmark move, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva signed a Presidential Decree that officially launches DTV+, also known as TV 3.0, as the country’s next-generation digital broadcasting standard.

Radio Republik Indonesia goes digital with DRM in FM band

In June and August 2020, Radio Republic Indonesia (RRI) installed and commissioned five digital radio transmitters in the FM band, using the Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) FM digital radio standard. Subsequent to that, the Indonesian Ministry of Information and Communication (Kominfo) conducted tests on the DRM FM transmissions of RRI.
